Angela Rennie

Osteopath

Angela graduated from Osteopathy at R.M.I.T. in 1998 and immediately joined the team at North Carlton Osteopathy where she worked full time until the birth of her first child, Ella, in 2006. During this time, she spent three months in mid 2000 working in one of Sydney’s North Shore osteopathic practices which was professionally beneficial and personally lots of fun.

Angela returned to part time work in September 2006 and continued working until she commenced maternity leave in December 2007 to await the birth of her second child, Joshua, in March 2008. Together with her husband Dean (whom she met at University and graduated together with him), she co-founded Osteopathy on Canterbury in October 2007 and commenced practising there in July 2008. She is thrilled to have this opportunity to develop this practice with Dean and eagerly awaits the new and exciting challenges that the journey will bring, as the clinic continues to grow and expand.

From an osteopathic perspective, Angela enjoys the personal aspects of her job, meeting people from all walks of life and helping them to understand their musculoskeletal conditions, whilst also educating them on ways to help themselves along their journey to improved health and wellbeing. Angela adopts a wide range of osteopathic techniques, including Cranial Osteopathy and enjoys treating people of all age groups, including babies and children. Angela is currently studying to be a Pilates instructor. She is so excited to be doing this and feels it will be a perfect adjunct to Osteopathy and can’t wait to implement it in the clinic in the coming years.

Angela is now the mother of four children – a twelve year old daughter Ella, a ten year old son Josh, an eight year old son, Tommy and a six year old son William. In her spare time, she loves drinking coffee, catching up with friends, reading and dancing. She loves her crazy kid/work juggle and feels extremely grateful to have found Osteopathy as a profession.
