Jessica joined the team at Osteopathy on Canterbury & Complementary Therapies in 2018, after completing a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy in 2013, followed by an Advanced Diploma in Sports Therapy at the Australian College of Sports Therapy in 2014.
Jessica has always had a very keen interest in assisting everyday people and athletes to achieve their health and fitness goals. She simply followed her passion and absolutely loves her work today as a Remedial Massage and Sports therapist! During Jessica’s course of study, she was chosen for an internship program with the Melbourne Storm under 20’s team and then moved on to work for Port Melbourne Football Club in the VFL. Since graduating, she has worked in numerous multi-disciplinary Practices across Melbourne. She also has a large background in the sporting field, having worked with various Sydney NRL teams over the years and is the current Head Trainer at her local football club in Melbourne.
Jessica is a very caring, dedicated and relaxed therapist who enjoys working on a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions. Using her strong communication and listening skills, she can carefully understand each patient’s individual needs and then create the perfect treatment plan to suit them. Jessica specialises in correcting movement-based dysfunction, improving movement to decrease pain and stiffness as well as writing exercise programs. She adopts a range of techniques, including deep tissue massage, movement assessment, cupping, joint mobilisation, trigger point therapy and corrective exercise. She excels in treating aches, pains, sporting injuries and neck & back pain.
In her spare time, Jessica heads to the gym 5 times a week and enjoys spending time with her dog Bailey. She loves movies, travel and going to the beach.
