Brad Robinson – Osteopath

After growing up in Melbourne, Brad completed a degree in Human Movement before graduating from RMIT University with a double degree in Osteopathic Science and Applied Science (Clinical Science) in 2004.

He worked in private clinics in the city centre and the suburbs of Melbourne before spending 2007-08 in Norway.  Whilst in Norway he took the opportunity to travel a little, learn new approaches to patient care and lectured technique at the School of Osteopathy in Oslo.

Brad treats a broad range of conditions and uses a wide variety of osteopathic techniques, tailoring treatment to the individual patient’s needs.  He relates well to people of all ages and provides a consistently high level of care in a comfortable treatment environment.

Brad is currently undertaking further study in Visceral Manipulation, which involves the gentle treatment of the organs of the body. Visceral manipulation aims improve the function of the body by looking at possible restrictions to movement/causes of pain that are contributed to by the internal as well as the external structures. These techniques may be beneficial in conditions such as irritable bowel disease, reflux and premenstrual pain.

Brad enjoys spending his free time in the outdoors – cycling, running and walking.  He is interested in watching and participating in a wide variety of sports and currently competes in track & field athletics.
